The Reservoirs in Merthyr Tydfil are excellent places to sail, and the Merthyr Tydfil Sailing Club regularly uses the waters for their activities.  The sailing club is a members only club, but if you are interested in learning how to sail or windsurf, the instructors at Dolygaer will be more than happy to speak to you about courses available which you can undertale whilst you are staying in Merthyr Tydfil.
