Cyfarthfa Park's newest facility is now open!

The Miniature Railway, run by the Merthyr Tydfil & District Model Engineering Society, will be open daily from Saturday 31st March until Sunday 15th April. From 16th April onwards the Railway will be open on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and from Friday through to Monday during the summer Bank Holidays. Rides operate from 11am to 5pm and cost just £1 per ride.

The railway is open 11am - 4pm, and all rides are a pound.

The route takes you past Cyfarthfa Lake, around the island, past the Castle and down the drive, slowly coming to a halt at the Pandy Clock.  A treat for young families, this railway is an excellent addition to the facilities in Cyfarthfa Park.
