Educational Visits to Joseph Parrys Cottage

For Educational Visits please telephone the museum on the above number or complete the online booking enquiry form. The Education Officer may need to speak to you in order to discuss requirements/arrangements and confirm date and time for your planned visit. A form will be sent out to be signed and returned. Please contact us at least a month in advance to avoid disappointment.

Facilities for the Disabled

At Joseph Parry's Cottage the ground floor is accessible to disabled users. The toilet is small and has not been adapted for disabled use. There are large print guides available, and information is given verbally by a guide for the visually impaired.

The Museums service has a disability and access policy which aims to address the needs of the disabled. Any comments on the facilities provided are welcomed, and can be made in writing or by telephone on 01685 723112 or by e-mail museum@merthyr.gov.uk

Free coach parking is available at Joseph Parry's cottage. Directions are provided on receipt of your booking.
