Accessibility
Parc Taf Bargoed is accessible by car and public transport. There
are disabled parking areas available beside the Pavilion and the
Lakeside Activity Centre, both of which have disabled toilets.
Improvements to
lakes recommended by the British Disabled Angling Association in
2009 are being implemented. These include DDA Fishing Platforms and
new DDA compliant paths to improve access to the lakeside.
It is hoped in the
future to provide an accessible canoe platform and improve access
all around the lake.
