Fishing & Angling
The lakes in the park are fed by the Taff Bargoed River and
cover an area of approximately eleven and three quarter
acres. The lake has wild brown which is supplemented by the
stocking of farmed rainbow and brown trout.
The lakes are
accessible to disabled people and planned improvements include
fishing platforms and improved paths to the lakeside.
Angling is available
all year round. Annual membership is available along with day
