The A470 connects south and north Wales. The
A465 connects west and east Wales. Merthyr Tydfil is located where
the two roads intersect each other, around 30 minutes drive time
from Cardiff, Swansea and Abergavenny. These major, mainly
dual-carriageway, arterial roads link via the M4 and M50 to the
national motorway network.

A regular passenger service links Merthyr
Tydfil with Cardiff; connections from Cardiff are available to the
rest of the national rail network.

60 minutes drive time away.
