British Tourism Week

In 2010, Merthyr Tydfil County Borough will be celebrating British Tourism week which takes place between Monday 15th – Sunday 21st of March 2010. The event, a first for Merthyr Tydfil, is the fourth annual British Tourism Week celebrated around Britain as a whole, which aims to raise local, regional, national and international awareness of the size, value and importance of Britain’s visitor economy.

British Tourism week is being organised by Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council with the support of Merthyr Tydfil Angling Association, Brecon Mountain Railway, Cyfarthfa Castle, local authors, historians, Green badge guides and many more.
