About New Exhibition "Art Attack" Arrives at Cynon Valley Museum

Local artists Alison Richards and Rob Taylor, alongside Joy Saunders, are thrilled to present their latest collaboration, Art Attack, at the Cynon Valley Museum. This exciting exhibition is the result of a new artistic initiative in Merthyr Tydfil, aimed at highlighting the talent flourishing in the South Wales Valleys.

The Creative Hwb, nestled in the serene surroundings of Cyfarthfa Park, serves as the creative epicenter for like-minded individuals to showcase their work and celebrate the region's artistic flair.

You're warmly invited to join us for the exhibition's opening event on April 6th, where you can experience the magic of Art Attack first hand. Alternatively, feel free to drop by anytime between 6th to 28th April to soak in the creativity on display.

But, the excitement doesn't stop there! The Creative Hwb will also be hosting "Valleys Re-Told" exhibitions at The Queen St Gallery in Neath from April 6th and at Redhouse in Merthyr Tydfil throughout May and June 2024. Featuring over 50 artworks, these exhibitions offer a unique perspective on the cultural heritage of the valleys inspired by the rich legacy of the Dowlais area

The Creative Hwb aims to reignite the spirit of creativity through workshops, drop-in sessions, and monthly meetings. For more information or to stay updated on future events, please email beaconsbees@gmail.com.
