A place to relax, enjoy the countryside, walk, run, mountain bike, motorbike. We want to encourage those who enjoy the outdoors to come and visit the Welsh Valleys and experience what it has to offer. With Bike Park Wales and the Brecon Beacons National Park on our doorstep there is plenty to do and the farm is surrounded by endless countryside.
Craig and Tamsin spent 3 years lovingly renovating the Grade II listed Welsh longhouse where the bell tents are located. They are both passionate mountain bikers and off road motorcyclists – both having finished the Dakar rally and they regularly compete in international events.
Eating, drinking, sleeping - why is it that it’s always better outside? We’ve set our accommodation up to offer the best of both worlds, all set out on spacious decks with firepits so you can appreciate life’s simple pleasures. All of our glamping accommodation includes log burners inside for the ultimate in cosy camping, fire pits and BBQs.
We are located in Quakers Yard, which is steeped in Welsh history – the farm dates back to the 1600s and was a safe house for the dissenting Quakers at the time to meet to avoid persecution. Many of those early Quakers then went on to set up home in Pennsylvania.
The views from the farm are spectacular and the tents are near to a working sheep farm. The barns are also home to an amazing array of birdlife, swallows and wagtails are a common sight in the summer.
