Old Canalside Cottage

Our cosy, quirky, newly renovated 2 Bedroom cottage (sleeping 3-4 people) is perfectly placed for those wishing to explore the Brecon Beacons and surrounding areas.

We’re situated immediately off the Taff Trail at Abercanaid so it’s just a short walk to Bikepark Wales. We’re also close to the local village shop and pubs.

Spend the evening relaxing on the patio in our large garden. We’ve also got bike storage for your convenience.

Our Facilities

We have an open plan living area and fully equipped kitchen with free tea & coffee at property.

There’s a double and single bedroom, plus a pull up bed suitable for a child or smaller person. (The pull up bed can be erected, if required, in the living room area and has additional bedding provided)

The bathroom comprises of walk in shower.

Parking is freely available on site, in the carpark to the side/rear.

If you require a travel cot, moses basket or highchair then just ask.

Please note: There’s no smoking inside cottage but we’ve provided a suitable area in the garden. There’s gas central heating for your comfort with a fireplace that’s for show only. Sorry. No pets.

It’s a tribute to the history of the village and in memory of my late grandfather who, like most of his neighbours, was a miner.
