Post Office Cottage is nestled at the southern end of Merthyr Tydfil. Which sleeps up to 5 guests, in two double bedrooms.

There is a master bedroom and spacious double bed, a handcrafted single bed, and quality Warren Evans bunk beds in the second bedroom.

Welcome Pack. I want guests to have a home-from-home experience, so upon arrival, there is a thoughtful welcome pack, with biscuits, crusty rolls, eggs, butter, cereals, milk, and gourmet coffee, to help you settle in.

Attractions. There are plenty of nearby attractions such as Bike Park Wales which is 10 mins away. Pen-y-Fan and Brecon Beacons National Park are 25 mins away with  Zip World Tower around 30 mins away. Around the same distance is Parkwood Outdoors Dolygaer, an adventure centre with a wide range of activities for families and friends to enjoy.

Trails. A must is a visit to the Parc Taf Bargoed Trails, around 5 mins from the cottage. There you'll find plenty of walks such as Summit Centre Walk, Lake Walk and Lets Ride and the best part is it's FREE. Adjoining Parc Taf Bargoed is Rock UK Summit Centre with the highest climbing walls, bouldering area and onsite café.

TIP. For a scenic journey, I recommend travelling over the Heads of the Valley Mountain route, to get to Post Office cottage, where breathtaking views and encounters with wild Horses and Cattle await. Don't forget to capture the moment with a memorable selfie or photo.
