This exhibition is the culmination of work created by partner schools and community groups, celebrating the history of Cyfarthfa’s 200th anniversary. It explores Cyfarthfa’s history, firstly as a home to the Crawshay family, as a school and as a Museum and Art Gallery to present day.
This community exhibition celebrates unique responses from Caedraw, Cyfarthfa Park and Goetre Primary schools, Penydre High school, Dowlais Visual Art Group, Merthyr Valley Homes Youth and artist Gemma Schiebe.
Playroom Gallery - FREE to enter.
We have also been supported by Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council through the Community Cohesion Grant Scheme.
