About Dark Run
Dark Run is a brand new series of fun runs in support of Tŷ Hafan this autumn! As the nights draw in, we’re lighting up some of Wales’ most loved destinations for a glowing experience 
Cyfarthfa Castle Dark Run
This epic 2.5k spooky fun run starts in the castle grounds, giving you gorgeous views of the lake. Then, you’ll go towards the gardens and wooden country park, where there will be spooky surprises waiting for you. But don’t fret – they won’t be too scary for the little ones!
We have lit up the castle and parts of the grounds for this event, and you can expect music and entertainment along the way.
A little about the event
Run or walk, the choice is yours. Fancy dress is optional but strongly encouraged – think bright neon colours and Halloween dress up! – and we’ll be giving a prize for the best costume
