This year is Railway 200 across the UK to celebrate 200 years since the first passenger journey. Merthyr was ahead of the game and the first ever steam powered journey on rails took place here on February 21st 1804.
To celebrate our heritage, the Three Valleys Community Rail Partnership has joined with a number of local partners to offer the following three events:
